    Inviting of applications for selection 
    of Progressive Dairy farmers Under 
    Cattle feed subsidy scheme (Capex 
    Advertisement Notice No: 02 of 2020

    Applications dully attested by the Concerned Vety 
    Assistant Surgeon of the area are invited from 
    progressive Dairy farmers of District Kulgam which 
    should reach to the office of undersigned on any 
    working day by or before 25-9-2020 up to 4:00 Pm 
    for implementation of Cattle feed subsidy scheme 
    under Capex 2020-2021 as per the following terms 
    and conditions:-
    1. Any progressive dairy farmer of District 
    Kulgam having a dairy cow with average 
    milk yield of 08 or more than 08 liters per 
    day with dairy animal tagged with 12 digit 
    UID and registered on INAPH web portal is 
    eligible for the benefit.
    2. Only one dairy animal per beneficiary is 
    eligible for the benefit to ensure maximum 
    3. 50% subsidy shall be provided on BIS type I 
    or Type II, urea free quality cattle feed for 90 
    days of winter months ( from 1st December 
    2020 to ending February 2021 ) @ 3 Kg cattle 
    feed per day per dairy animal (270 Kgs of 
    feed for 90 days) with a maximum subsidy 
    ceiling of Rs. 1200 per Quintal of feed (i.e 
    Rs. 3240 for 270 Kgs of feed)
    4. Only 463 progressive dairy farmers fulfilling 
    the criteria are to be selected through draw 
    of lots by the District level implementation 
    committee comprising of 05 members 
    with Deputy Commissioner Kulgam as its 
    Chairman and Chief Animal Husbandry 
    officer Kulgam as its member secretary. 
    The date for draw of lots shall be notified 
    5. 20% SC/ST/BPL and 10% women farmers 
    shall be covered under the scheme.
    6. The selected beneficiary shall procure BIS 
    Type-I/Type II urea free quality cattle feed 
    from any authorized cattle feed retailer, 
    dealer or distributor and submit the 
    proforma bill in original along with an 
    application to Chief Animal Husbandry 
    officer Kulgam for release of subsidy 
    7. The Chief Animal Husbandry officer Kulgam 
    shall get the purchased feed physically 
    verified by concerned Vety Assistant 
    Surgeon and release the subsidy amount 
    through DBT mode only.
